@spudd2k8 those lines in the sky, on the video are chemtrails you know, the trail from the plane? Some people think they’re released on purpose into the air .. why? God knows.

Not funny. Just depressing how uninformed some people are. To believe that what you see in the sky is a chemtrail is showing you ignorance to the scientific community.

Isn’t it funny how us young kids see the chem-trails but our parents are like, “aww noooo son, that just from the jet or airplane, con-trail?”

you know if you play this song four times faster you’ll hear an instrumental version of steralfur which is written by the same band

Also, the temperature at which aircraft cruise ranges between -3 and -55, depending on atmospheric conditions and the aircraft’s height. The temperature and conditions determine how long a contrail will last. A contrail is, very simply, the exhaust from an aircraft’s engines freezing and crystalising. It’s the same thing as seeing exhaust from car tailpipes in the winter.

Yes, those are my main (not only) points. The snow creation that you’re talking about is real, but it’s not done by so-called chemtrails. China has a department devoted to weather modification to increase rain and snowpack. The US and even Russia also do this. Silver iodide is released into clouds from aircraft to increase rain or snowfall. This is not done at cruising altitude, as rain/snow clouds do not form at that height.

In russia they did a test to let it snow, and it worked perfectly.
They put chemicals in the atmosphere to do this. Maybe you have read about it a few months ago

If yes, I can only say that maybe the effect of chemtrails should not be, to drop down to us.
Therefor you should look up what is meant by “Geo-Engineering”

“the amount of any chemical to have an effect on something 15km away (average cruising altitude is 33-35,000ft or 15,000m) is more than an any aircraft can hold”

“that there are powerful air currents at that altitude that would push your fantasy chemicals hundreds, even thousands, of kilometres away”

Am I right that this are your main points of disproving chemtrails?

Public broadcast stations can have anything said on them. Members of parliament are not experts in this field. Do fact checking yourself and you’ll quickly realise how ridiculous this ‘chemtrail’ nonsense really is.

    BTW

In my opinion the great aspect of Sigur Rós is, that you can associate so many things to their music. Even bad things like chemtrails.

In some countries, like my own, officials confirmed this theory. Also some puplic broadcast stations did.

In my country the officals where members of the parliament. Maybe you should write to your own goverment and ask them.

If you took any amount of time to understand chemistry or physics or even aviation you would grasp that the amount of any chemical to have an effect on something 15km away (average cruising altitude is 33-35,000ft or 15,000m) is more than an any aircraft can hold. You also conveniently ignore that there are powerful air currents at that altitude that would push your fantasy chemicals hundreds, even thousands, of kilometres away – rendering them useless.

    Educate yourself.

It’s really too bad, and kind of ironic, that such a beautiful piece of music is being associated with such an uneducated theory.
